Ronald McDonald House Albany is proud to invite the community to its upcoming 4th annual 5K Family Fun Run, a high-energy, family-friendly event designed to bring people together in support of families with seriously ill and injured children.
The event will take place at the Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences track and field facility, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities to run, walk, or simply enjoy a day of fun and connection. The morning kicks off with registration at 8:00 a.m., followed by a Kids’ Superhero Dash at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K run/walk beginning at 10:00 a.m.
More than just a race, the 5K Family Fun Run offers a full morning of activities for the entire family. Attendees can enjoy a host of activities including bounce houses and face painting, along with music, raffles, and food available for purchase.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to support families when they need us most,” said Kimmy Venter, CEO at RMHC-CR. “Every step taken and every dollar raised helps us continue providing comfort, care, and essential services free of charge for families so they can focus solely on the health and well-being of their children.”
Proceeds from the event directly support Ronald McDonald House Albany’s mission to provide a home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical care, ensuring they stay close to their loved ones during difficult times.

Community members are encouraged to register, form teams, and invite friends, family, and coworkers to participate. Those who prefer not to run can still take part by supporting the event through donations and sponsorships.
